Christian God or Muslim God?

Scripture of the Month!

John 6:40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day."  NKJV

Lately I’ve been thinking about this subject. Because as a missionary I hear this when I am over seas. Oh they pray to the same God as we do. So I decided to do some research and found out some interesting things. Also had an opportunity to discuss this with my good friend Perry Stone. We know he has an interesting view of this subject. Lets first go over what they believe which is very interesting. We both believe in the virgin birth. Muslims believe Jesus did not died on the cross but ascended into heaven. We believe that Jesus died on a cross and was resurrection. We both believe that Jesus is coming back again. A vital difference between the Islamic and Christian views of God is the biblical concept of the Trinity. In the Bible, God has revealed Himself as one God in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. While each Person of the Trinity is fully God, God is not three gods but three in one The Trinity is essential to the Christian faith. Without the Trinity, there would be no incarnation of God’s Son in the Person of Jesus Christ. Without Jesus Christ, there would be no salvation from sin. The main difference is the death and resurrection of Jesus. Do Christians and Muslims both have a correct understanding of who God is? To this question, the answer is definitely no. Because of crucial differences between the Christian and Muslim concepts of God, the two faiths cannot both be true. The biblical God alone addresses and solves the problem of sin by giving His Son. I want to encourage you that all that is going on in the world its a setup for Jesus return. All that is going on with leaders in the world is a set up for God’s will to be established in the earth.

Thanks for loving the world, Rusty

Denise’s Corner:

So excited about the time change. Ready for more Daylight and warmer weather. I know give me three and four months and will be ready for cool weather again. Sad to report that Josh’s duck Boomer has left us for a new home in the country with other ducks that can’t fly. That’s right when we picked out Boomer we were not informed that he was a “special duck” and couldn’t fly. Imagine that! Josh told his daddy for next years science fair project he’s gonna do it using a pot belly pig. I asked Josh what he said “ he freaked out mom it’s going to take me a year to talk him into that one! Poor Rusty! We are all doing great just busy. Looking forward to retirement-oh wait we have an 11 year old!! I wouldn’t change it!
